TAC 4x4 Traction: Web Site Agreement

Product Pricing Policy:

While 4x4 Traction and our affiliates do our best to ensure that the information viewed on our website is as accurate and error-free as possible, mistakes do occur.
We do not warrant that product descriptions, and all other content of this website to be entirely accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
Additionally, barring any pricing inaccuracies, items in your shopping cart should always reflect the most recent price, as is also displayed on the item's product detail page.
Please note that this price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first place it in your cart.
With respect to items sold by 4x4 Traction, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order.

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog or on our website may contain pricing errors.
In the event of a pricing inaccuracy, we will proceed at our discretion as follows:
1. If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
2. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will take one of the following actions:
1. Your order will be held, and we will attempt to contact you for further instruction regarding you order
2. Your order will be cancelled, and we will notify you of the cancellation immediately

Also note that purchases from third-party sellers using 4x4 Traction payments are charged at the time you place your order, and third-party sellers may follow different policies in the event of an item that is incorrectly priced.

4x4 Traction reserves the right to make changes in design, materials, specifications and product changes as deemed necessary without prior notice and without assuming and obligation to modify any product previously manufactured.
Obligation or liabilities will not be assumed with respect to similar products.

All 4x4 Traction material is copyrighted.

Order Placement:

Orders may be placed online, or by phone to our office at (015) 293-0736.
Our regular business hours are 7:30AM to 16:30PM GMT+2, Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.
All products, which are in stock, are processed for shipping within one business day, unless otherwise listed on our website.

Warranty Policy:

4x4 Traction guarantees the workmanship of the products sold for a period of 30 days from date of receipt.
If you have received a defective product, please review the manufacturer information included with your new product.
Should your product fail after 30 days, please contact us and we will assist you in submitting a claim to the manufacturer.

Purchasers and users of our products are responsible for determining the applicability of a product to their specific application.
In the event of a defect, malfunction, or failure to conform to this warranty, then 4x4 Traction will repair or replace the goods without charge within 30 days of receipt of goods.
If 4x4 Traction is unable to replace and/or repair the goods or if 4x4 Traction, in its sole discretion, determines that neither is commercially practicable or cannot be made within 30 days of receipt of the goods, 4x4 Traction will refund the purchase price.
The purchaser is responsible for installation and removal of all parts, freight or shipping costs, and incidental or consequential damages.
We offer a warranty to cover defects in materials and craftsmanship prior to installation for a period of one (1) year from shipping date of invoice.
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser.
Please contact us prior to returning products.
All returned boxes must have the invoice number clearly marked on the outside of the box or a copy of the invoice inside.
Labor cost to R&R components and down time of vehicle is not covered under this warranty.
We must inspect the product before we can properly determine if the damage was caused by quality of material, craftsmanship, incorrect application, installer or user, etc.
Shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Product that is found to be defective and able to be warrantied will be replaced or repaired.
Replacement product will be sent back at no cost to you.

Product Application and Waiver:

Some of the products we sell are intended for off-road Rock Crawling and racing.
Both of these sports are extremely dangerous and require a great deal of driving experience.
Some after market products alter the vehicle's OEM specifications, making the vehicle's OEM handling characteristics unstable.
Some modifications and installation of certain aftermarket parts may under certain circumstances void your original dealer warranty.
Modification of your vehicle may create dangerous conditions, which could cause serious bodily injury or death.
Buyers and users of these products hereby expressly assume all risks associated with any such modifications and use.
Some modifications will adversely affect the on-road handling characteristics of your vehicle.
All products sold by 4x4 Traction, are sold for off road use.
Any other use or application is the responsibility of the purchaser and/or user.

4x4 Traction strongly recommends that all products, only be installed by trained professionals.
Modification of certain after market accessories may be required in the form of welding and fabrication, and should only be performed by a certified fabricator.
If you are not competent to perform these tasks - Then Don't! Seek out professional assistance.
You, the customer, will accept any and all liability for the use of our products.
4x4 Traction will not accept responsibility for personal injury or damage arising from the failure of any parts manufactured or sold by 4x4 Traction.
If you do not accept the responsibility, then do not use these products.

Rock crawling and off-road driving is inherently dangerous activities. Installation of suspension lift kits or any other lifting kits or devices will raise the center of gravity.
For this reason, 4x4 Traction urges that extreme caution be used when encountering driving conditions, which may cause vehicle imbalance.
Furthermore, the driver’s field of vision and judgment will not be as good due to the height of the vehicle.
Due to the installation of larger tires, the speedometer will read slower than the actual speed being traveled and more distance will be required to stop the vehicle.
It is the owner’s responsibility to caution and warn any potential driver of the vehicle about these driving and handling conditions.
4x4 Traction will not be held liable or responsible for damages or personal injuries resulting from the use of lifting devices and/or related products.
The tires and rims should be changed to sufficiently increase the vehicle’s total overall width and stability to help accommodate lifting devices.
4x4 Traction also recommends that the steering system on lifted vehicles be appropriately corrected, to reduce steering stress and angles.
Once completed, the vehicle should be inspected by a professional mechanic including such areas as the steering system, brake system, speedometer re-calibration, and clearance, for tire and suspension travel and tightness of all installed products.

Shipping & Delivery Times:

Next day or economy (72 hrs.) shipping countrywide is available.
Contact 4x4 Traction for the various rates.
Items in stock are shipped within 1-2 business days from the date the order was placed.
Items not in stock, are shipped direct from the manufacturer / supplier and may be delayed in their shipping process.
In other cases, some orders are sent from multiple locations and may require that 4x4 Traction ship items from the same order in more than one box.
In these particular instances, shipping charges are based on the total weight of your order and you will only be charged one low delivery price.

All orders must be prepaid before delivery.

Custom products or specialty items that are made to order, may also require additional lead time for delivery depending on the manufacturer's production schedule and location.
Please verify your shipping address before you submit your order to ensure the quickest possible delivery.
You must provide a residential or business address for delivery.
You will be notified when your product has shipped.
If an e-mail address is provided, 4x4 Traction can send you the tracking number.

Once the courier has picked up the package, they are responsible for it and the delivery time.
All orders are carefully packaged before they leave our facility.
Loss or mishandling of boxes by the carrier is the responsibility of the carrier.
All claims for damaged or lost goods should be reported to the carrier.
If you are in the area you are welcome to collect from our Polokwane based office.

International shipping will be quoted for each order.

Please select the appropriate shipping option when you check out.


If you are not at home at the agreed time of delivery, you may be charged a re-delivery fee equal to your shipping charge.
On occasion, 4x4 Traction may offer shipping promotions, such as free or discounted shipping.
Whether immediately stated or not, these specials are only available within the Limpopo area and always exclude territories outside South Africa.

Returns & Exchanges:

Permission from 4x4 Traction must be obtained prior to returning or exchanging merchandise.
Please do not order parts that you do not intend to keep.
4x4 Traction charges a 20% restocking fee for all returned orders that were correctly shipped by us.
No cash refunds, store credit only.
Exchanges or credits will not be allowed later than 30 days after purchase.
Installed or modified parts cannot be returned or exchanged.
No refunds for shipping costs.
There are no exceptions.
Freight charges, installation cost, labor cost, damage to related components, cost incurred due to down time of vehicle, normal wear and tear, lost profits and incidental or consequential damages are not covered.
If 4x4 Traction shipped the wrong item you may return the item(s).
Once the item has been received back, we will issue a refund.
This will take 7-14 days.
Returns are subject to inspection.
All parts must be returned in the original package, cannot be damaged or installed, and must be in original condition.
All returned parts must be sent freight prepaid and are subject to a re-boxing fee.
Certain parts are not returnable, including but not limited to wheels and tires that have been mounted and/or installed, electrical items, and closeouts.
Customer returns for parts received as part of a "free shipping" offer will be credited for the amount of the returned parts less actual outbound shipping charges paid by us and any restocking fee that may apply.
All returned boxes must have the invoice number clearly marked on the outside of the box or a copy of the invoice inside.
Any returns made without the necessary information to clearly identify the sender will be held for 15 days and then returned to stock.
If you receive a package that was short supplied or damaged and was delivered by a truck freight company, you must sign for it that way.
Sign the bill of lading as (short) or (damaged) Quantity?, Item?, Description?, Type of damage?, Etc.
Please make sure that the driver acknowledges the situation, in writing on the bill of lading or else 4x4 Traction cannot proceed in helping you with a claim on the product.
The truck freight carriers are very specific on this matter.

Return Procedure:

For all returns, please call (015) 293 0736.
Provide a specific reason for your return, and request a Goods Return Voucher (GRV) number.
When packaging your parts for shipping, write the GRV number on the outside packaging in large, easily visible letters, and include a copy of the original invoice in the package.
We strongly recommend packing any parts with fragile components, with sufficient padding.
Note that we are not responsible for products being returned to us that are damaged mid-shipment.
